The petrol pump owners withdrew their countrywide strike on Friday (october 13 ). Last week , a decision was made by the petrol pump owners to close 54,000 petrol pumps across the country under the auspices of the United Petroleum Front (UPF), a joint venture of petrol dealers.The Petrol pump owners called for a strike to increase the dealer commission once in six months, reimbursement of refunds, compensation losses, fixing fuel tariffs and fixing fuel sales to GST. They also unilaterally withdrew the penalty number, which included oil companies, and forced them to stop selling the ethanol without the necessary equipment.
